Profession: Hairstylist

Who are you James?

I’m 32 years old. Half English and half Portuguese.

Why and when did you decide to become a Hairstylist?

I got into hairdressing 10 years ago after graduating school because I was more of a creative person and wanted to make people feel good.

What job has been your biggest challenge so far?

Being back stage in Milan doing Versace fashion show with all that hair.

Who would you love to style?

There are so many, but if I had to choose, I would have to say Kate Moss and Taylor Swift.

What does a city like NY brings to you?

New York brings me belief, positivism, energy and happiness.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the city?

Walking around the west village… My dream is to own a town house 🙂

What’s next? Any projects?

Nothing new is happening yet but I would love to get a product deal with a hair company… So if anyone is interested let me know!
